Probably you are all addicted to sugar, just like we are. We love sweets in every form, and although we fight with it, all the time we want something sweet. Karola loves condensed milk and Adam could eat strawberry chocolate all the time. And when it’s hot we could only eat ice cream (chocolate, mint, strawberry, coconut …). The fight is not even because our brains demand sweetness all the time…
Time to end this!
From Monday we started a 30-day sugar detox! We believe that within one month we will get rid of sugar addiction. Today we have fourth day of our detox and we didn’t break any rules!
What are the rules?
After a week of reading about it and exploring several approaches to this subject we decided to do it like this:
- No sweets,
- No fruit (except for lemon)
- Avoid products with high and medium glycemic index,
- Eat nuts (excluding cashew nuts and groundnuts) and other healthy fats, because the brain has to draw energy from it.
- Zero alcohol.
